Uhuru Solidarity Movement invites you to join this dynamic workshop with guest speakers Gaida Kambon, Secretary General of the African People's Socialist Party, and Penny Hess, Chairwoman of the African People's Solidarity Committee and author of "Overturning the Culture of Violence." This workshop will address the conditions of colonial violence and oppression faced by African women inside the U.S. and around the world. The speakers will discuss how Euro-American allies can stand in solidarity with the struggle of African people for national liberation and self-determination. This event is part of the campaign to build for the May 3-4 national convention of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, Reparations Now! to be held in St. Petersburg, FL.
