Student Unionism 101

Students across the globe have been at the forefront in the fight against neoliberalism and capitalism. Their methods and tactics of organizing vary, but students in Chile and Quebec have shown that directly democratic student unions can be very powerful organizations, capable of catalyzing and sustaining large social movements. This presentation will explain what student unions are, how they function, and why students in the U.S. should form student unions at their schools and universities.
